SOOIEPALOOZA  III    2005

 

What is this?   A Warhammer Fantasy Tournament, Indy GT, in February 2005.  5 Games over a 2 day period.  3 on Saturday, 2 more on Sunday.

When is this?  February 5 & 6,  2005

 

Who is involved?  There will be 50 players from all over the world.  Some of the best players in the game will participate, as in every Indy GT.

 

How do I get entered?  There are limited spots still available.  You need to contact Dennis at 479-263-3036 or go to the web page at www.sooiehammer.com

 

Army Guidelines :  As with all Indy GT’s, this tournament is 2250 points.  No special characters are permitted.  Non-GW models are welcome, as long as they can be identified easily.  Armies don’t need to be painted, but Paint will be judged, scored, and counted in Overall Championship scores.  No Back Of The Book armies are allowed, but Storm of Chaos Armies are fine, as are all armies in the Annuals, using the most recent.

 

What is the Entry Fee?  Entry Fees are $35 for the 5 games.  T Shirts are $15.  Order them in advance and ask about the PREPAYMENT discount!

 

What type of Prizes are there?  We have sponsorship from Games Workshop, Armorcast, and Gale Force 9.  There will be Door Prizes drawn throughout the tournament, as well as prizes for all category winners.  Overall, Best Paint, Best Sportsmanship, Best Army Selection, Best General, Players’ Choice, Pig Sty Award, Grizzled Veteran Award, Super Senior Award!

 

Can I get a Hotel Discount?  Tell them you are with Sooiepalooza, and rooms at the Radisson are $69.99 per night.  There are also many other places to stay within 10 minutes of the venue.  You can call the Radisson at 479-442-5555.

 

 

What’s the Deadline?  Your entry fee is due by December 1, but early entries are welcome, and assure you of a spot in the event.  Army lists must be turned in by

January 1, 2005.  We might make exceptions for Ogre Kingdoms.  Army Builder Format is best, and you can e mail it to me at  warhammerworld@hotmail.com. Attach it as a ROSTER FILE.
