The Guys Take a Trip

Stillwater

November 6 & 7 saw 5 of our guys take a road trip to Stillwater, Oklahoma.  There was a 2 day event at the all new Knight Arms store in that town, and Michael, Mike, and the gang made all of us feel quite welcome. 

Saturday gaming saw a 2000 point 40K tournament.  3 Games, 2 hour time limits.  Gentry came in 4th overall.  Bradford and Dennis tied for 8th.  Neff and Russell played admirably, but no cigars for any WHW players. 

Saturday night found the 5 of us at Appleby's and then back at the hotel playing Munchkin.  Boones Farm Blue stuff!  What is with that Gentry.  Bradford snores like a BEAR!!!!

Sunday was the Fantasy Tournament, and 3 more games, all with 2 hour Time Limits.  Gentry finished 4th overall.  Bradford finished in the middle of the pack, and Dennis finished 2nd overall, and Dennis won Best General, though the director saw fit to give it to Gentry, who Dennis trounced in Game 3 in less than 45 minutes!

Quite a weekend, a Warning Ticket for No Insurance, 85 in a 70 and Expired tags, but no out of pocket expense.  It pays to live right!
