Potential First Round Matches

The following are the potential First Round Matches.  All are subject to changes, but this is what I have come up with so far!  Good luck to all Sooie 3 players!

Josh Buchanan  Dark Elves  vs.  Luis Lopez  Wood Elves   This should prove interesting and entertaining.  Josh is coming in from St. Louis, and Luis is bringing in his clan from Albuquerque.  Luis has a scratch built Smurf army.

Jeanne Mitchell  Tomb Kings  vs.  Paul Coxe  Khorne Demons  Jeanne will be right up there in the running for Best Painted army, and I have seen the previews of her Tomb Kings!  Paul is bringing the Bloodthirster, and should have a great tournament with the Updated SOC rules!

Chris Alcantara  Chaos Khorne  vs. Justin Collier  Beasts   Chris is going totally opposite of his usual massive Horde army, and bringing the Babe Ruth, home run army, while Justin is playing the Herds of Slaneesh.  Can the Beasts slay a Dragon?

Mark Burr  Bretonnia  vs.  Brian Bradford  Skaven  Mark is the defending champion, and his path to repeating is not going to be easy.  Brian brings a Screaming Bell and a horde of other marvelous wonders from Skavenblight!

Kevin Neff  Lizards  vs.  Rick Thompson  Empire  Kevin is in his 3rd Sooie, and his Lizards are magically enhanced,.  Rick comes up from Dallas with his Empire army.  Should be entertaining.

Ryan Beck  Dark Elves  vs. Rick Daniel  Orcs  Ryan has some Fire in store for Rick's Army of Grimgore's 'ard Boyz!  This is one I will be watching, 'cause I'm kinda partial to Greenskins!

Jason Smith  Demons  vs. Brian Ching  Cult of Slaneesh  Jason is bring back the Slaneesh Cats for their 3rd Sooie, and Brian will be bringing the Druchii!  Slaneesh will be weel pleased in the afterglow!

Jesse Hunn Dwarfs  vs.  Gentry Collier Vampires   Jesse has a solid Dwarf army, and will represent the Mo. gang well.  Gentry has finished in the top 10 in his last 4 tourneys.

Roy Eggensperger  Slayers  vs.  Troy Conlon  Dwarfs   Roy is always one of the more exciting players in all the tournaments, and his Brand New army of Slayers should meet their match with Troy's Dwarfs, a solid balanced attack.

Bannon Gallaher  Lizardmen  vs.  Mike Cannon  Skaven  A new look for  Mike and his 250+ model army will give Bannon, a newcomer to Sooie, quite a challenge.

Tony Rupp  Empire  vs  Ken Mitchell  Beasts   Ken is armed and ready for the Steam Tank from Missouri.  This should be a tough, blood and guts match, and I know that Ken would have it NO OTHER WAY!!!

Vince Hunn Wood Elves  vs  Brent Simon  Lizardmen   Brent is bringing the Southlands list, and all those poisoned attacks from 16" away should give the Treemen of Seymour all they can handle.  Watch out for that Dragon!

Michael Travars  Vampires  vs.  Mark Trail  Khorne Demon Legion  Michael has a very interesting Lahmia list, while Mark is bringing the army that won the recent Rogue Trader Tournament in Springfield.

Ron Kilby  Dwarfs  vs.  Jason Johnson  Skaven   Jason is bringing a solid army from the town of Skavenblkight, and his Ratling Guns will give Ron's Gyro all he can handle. 

Mike Grajeda  Chaos Demons  vs.  Adam Miller  Orcs   Mike is coming from Austin with the army of Nurgle, and his opponent will be ready.  I played Adam in Springfield, and he is a fun game.  His Orcs won't back down, until they take a break test!

Dayven Lopez  Lizardmen  vs. Brad Barley  Empire   Dayven is coming to his second Sooiepalooza, and his Lizards will be ready for Brad's Steam Tank, you can count on it!

Brian Preece  Vampires  vs.  Ian Dennis  Chaos Mortals   Brian is going to play his Von Carsteins against Ian and his Slaneesh horde.  This is one I'll be watching with great interest. 

James Mayes  Dark Elves  vs.  Josh Johnson  Lizardmen   James will be trying to make pincushions out of Josh's army.  Welcome back to Josh after a 1 year absence.
